Who doesn’t love Jumbo, but at 40 and sporting 2 goals on the season you have to wonder how much he can really help. |
|

think as a playmaker and vet with leadership, he has a lot still to give there BUT thinking sure Boston makes sense, Toronto?? Sorry I don't think he really considers that and that is more in there for clickbait really. |

Jumbo feeding Terasenko on the PP is actually a pretty terrifying idea |

Thornton played for SSM … but Dudass probably wasn't born then so no worries.
Thornton feeding anyone these days is not terrifying. To go with those 2 goals he has like 20 assists. Guy is washed up.
Is Thornton really the competitive passionate leader the Leafs need around Matthews?
Will Elkund actually come even close on a trade this deadline? No looking too good so far.
More to come ...

It's a nice story but in no way helps the Bruins. It would force Coyle to wing in Krejci's line. Coyle is far more effective as a 3C. I wouldn't take Kuraly out of his position as a 4C for 40 year Thornton either.
Bruins need to grab one of
Kreider
J. Anderson
Palmieri
or do nothing. |

This must be taken VERY seriously because the Bruins are STRONGLY considering it. |

Since ek says there’s “no chance” Palmieri goes to the islanders I wonder what number they will give him? |

You don't have to try and hint, Bob. We'll give him your number if you really want us to. |

Love JOE T but besides the story of bringing him back for a Cup run. It would make zero sense for the Bruins to bring him in. |

And there is no chance that Palmieri would be moved to the Islanders....that much I am confident about...
So Palmieri to the Islanders then? |

That's an E5. The Bruins are considering trading for Joe Thornton. In fact they're very serious. But the Isles are actually trading for Palmieri. They're just doing it. Lou may have already traded for him but the Devils don't know it yet. Just like when the Blues acquired Trouba a few days ago. Armstrong was serious. Gorten wasn't. He was just STRONGLY considering it.

Yeah he's not an upgrade anywhere, would be folly.
Agree on the do nothing unless part, no small on-paper upgrades please. A few long shot bombs I'd add to your list tho |

Louis Domingue is being held out of NJ's practice for "precautionary reasons, not related to health" per Amanda Stein. HOW IS THIS NOT NEW BLOG WORTHY????? This is the domino that has been holding up the TDL flood gates. |
